Meet Dr. Gissou Golpira (Owner)

Dr. Golpira is a graduate from UBC with Bachelor of Science degree (B. Sc.) in 2006 and Doctorate in Dental Medicine Degree (D.M.D) in 2010. After graduation, before opening her own practice, Dr. Golpira had been working in areas of Vancouver, Coquitlam, New Westminster, and Langley. In 2017, her dream came true by opening her own practice, Lougheed Family Dental.

She loves meeting new patients and building long term relationships with her patients. She cares for all of her patients, and their well-being, and she treats them like family. Dr. Golpira prides herself in providing gentle and compassionate dental care in an anxiety-free environment for all members of families, from kids to elderly. She takes the time with her patients, educating them, answering their questions, and consulting them for best affordable dental treatment, which is exclusive to each patient. She is passionate about what she does and truly enjoys all aspects of dentistry whether it is relieving one’s pain or creating an artistically beautiful natural-looking life-changing smile.

Dentistry is an ever-changing field. Dr. Golpira’s philosophy is practising quality dentistry utilizing the most advanced technology, techniques, and material. She has built Lougheed Family Dental based on this belief with cutting edge technology. She strives to make every dental visit a pleasant experience for her patients. She believes in keeping her dental knowledge up to date and enhancing her skills through ongoing continuing education courses. She has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry, including orthodontics (Invisalign), implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatments, dental surgeries, complex composite restorative dentistry (aesthetic white fillings), bonding, cosmetic Bioclear restorations, prosthodontics, same-day CEREC crowns and bridges, and botox cosmetics, to name a few.

She is a member of FORCE International Orthodontics study club, American Academy of Clear Aligners, Aligntech Institute, BIOCLEAR training centre, Oral implantology study club, CEREC DOCS, Canadian Dental Association, British Columbia Dental Association, College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, and Pacific training Institute for Facial Aesthetics.


When not in the office, Dr. Golpira is doing some sort of outdoor activity. She enjoys biking, skiing slopes of Whistler, or hiking numerous beautiful trails of BC with her family and friends.

Meet Dr. Parviz Roshanzamir

Dr. Roshanzamir has been in dental practice since 2003. He graduated with the highest academic and clinical achievement from the University of Jondishapour, one of the oldest medical and dental educational centres. He proved his commitment to continued education and clinical excellence by advancing his skills and knowledge at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry.

In 2012, he became the recipient of several academic and clinical excellence awards and became a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honour Society.

Dr. Roshan is a member of the following respected organizations:

• College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia
• Canadian Dental Association
• Academy of General Dentistry
• American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry

He has advanced training and certificate in cardiac life support and is licensed by the College of Dental Surgeons to provide IV conscious sedation.

To be at the forefront of dental innovation and to provide his patients with the highest quality treatments, he was recently trained in Chao Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation™ and will be one of the pioneers of this revolutionary technique in Vancouver and Canada.

Being a lifetime student, he is in the process of getting his Fellowship with the Las Vegas Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and has completed his Mastership in Laser Dentistry from the University of Aachen and his Fellowship status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Other areas of Dr. Roshan’s interest and training include Invisalign® (clear alternative to braces), CEREC® (one-appointment porcelain crown and restoration), neuromuscular dentistry and chronic facial pain management, smile rejuvenation and full mouth reconstruction.

When his busy professional life permits, Dr. Roshan enjoys playing the guitar, reading, spending time with family and travelling.

Meet Dr. Stephen Wong

Dr. Wong pursued his education in dentistry at McGill University in Montreal where he trained under clinical instructors and embraced their compassionate and empathetic approach to dental care. After four years in Montreal he graduated with distinction from his dental training. Prior to his dental education, Dr. Wong attended the University of British Columbia majoring in Pharmacology and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with distinction.

Upon completion at McGill University, Dr. Wong continued advancing his education at the University of Connecticut Advanced Education in the General Dentistry residency program where he gained further experience working with medically compromised patients, restorative and prosthodontic treatments, oral surgery, emergency dental management, and sedation.

After being on the east coast, Dr. Wong chose to resettle back in Vancouver and is proud to be a part of ­­­­Lougheed Family Dental. In addition to practicing the scientific and artistic aspects of dentistry, he is passionate about providing the utmost quality of care for his patients to ensure their comfort and trust. He takes time to understand each patient’s needs and works with them to achieve and maintain their oral health. He continues to advance his knowledge in dentistry through specialized courses to keep current with the best dental treatment options, and provides treatments including oral surgery, wisdom teeth extraction, root canal treatments, restorative and prosthetic treatments, internal bleaching, and pediatric dentistry. Dr. Wong also provides Botox treatments for therapeutic and cosmetic purposes, including Botox treatments for TMJ issues.

Dr. Wong is a member of the British Columbia Dental Association, College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, and the Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Wong is also a graduate of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics & Therapeutics.

In his spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to concerts, playing sports, camping, and hiking with his dog.

Meet Dr. Rola Nasralla

Dr. Rola Nasralla is a family dentist who takes pride in providing her patients with a high level of gentle dental care. She does her best to put her patients at ease and make every appointment as comfortable as possible. Dr. Nasralla loves providing quality oral health care to adults and children alike and she offers dental services in both English and Arabic.

With her extensive experience at several prestigious dental practices, including the UBC Oral health Centre, Dr. Nasralla has always been passionate about Dental Medicine. She prides herself on promptly responding to her patients’ needs and has consistently received very positive feedback from patients, and parents of her younger clientele who refer to her as “Dr. Rola”.
